Fabric Pumpkins and Craft Parties

November 30, 2011

I have had the privilege of being invited to my friend Shanna’s to participate in Craft parties with her family and friends. Everyone in this family is incredibly talented. Shanna is a photographer & scrapbooker, and we actually met online at The Lilypad! Her mother has the most adorable Etsy Store, Oh! For Cute!, and her mother-in-law has one of those craft rooms everyone wants and has such a beautiful home.

This month, we got together for the second craft party, and had a marathon day of Holiday Crafting, so fun! We all choose a craft to share and bring supplies for everyone attending and lead the group in that craft. I chose to share the Fabric Pumpkins tutorial by Danielle Thompson from her blog. I made these last year and was so suprised how easy they were! Here’s some of the pumpkins we made.

Fabric Pumpkins based of Danielle Thompson's blog tutorial

Victoria, one of the ubber talented ladies in this family, came up with the idea to do the yarn stems out of tassels. Seriously adorable touch, don’t you think?

Thanks ladies for such a great day! I have a couple more projects from that day to share later too!
