Expanding horizons

About a year ago I went through a stage where I randomly collected fabrics. They’ve been happily tucked away in my crafty trunk since purchased. I pulled them out this weekend to make yet another attempt at hand stitching. I found a fun website called Cut-Out + Keep, like a Facebook for crafters, almost like Ravlery (a knitting social networking site). Anyway, there’s lots of great tutorials at Cut-Out + Keep for all kinds of crafty things. I found a couple things for people who are needle and thread challenged like me. Looking forward to using these this week:

I love yellow, it’s always been my favorite color and yellow and blue together, yep, perfection.

Speaking of Ravelry, I came up with a fun little project today. I didn’t finish it ’till Lulu went to bed, so I’ll hopefully share tomorrow.

It’s almost Monday. Time to settle down and catch up on my DVR, the Closing Ceremonies are calling.

    Buttons! Nice colors…i am in love with yellow..it’s my kitchen color…a pretty deep bright yellow to boot. We have piles of buttons around here…i’ll have to get a photo of them. You albums make me want to join that journaling class!
