Expanding horizons

March 1, 2010

About a year ago I went through a stage where I randomly collected fabrics. They’ve been happily tucked away in my crafty trunk since purchased. I pulled them out this weekend to make yet another attempt at hand stitching. I found a fun website called Cut-Out + Keep, like a Facebook for crafters, almost like Ravlery (a knitting social networking site). Anyway, there’s lots of great tutorials at Cut-Out + Keep for all kinds of crafty things. I found a couple things for people who are needle and thread challenged like me. Looking forward to using these this week:

I love yellow, it’s always been my favorite color and yellow and blue together, yep, perfection.

Speaking of Ravelry, I came up with a fun little project today. I didn’t finish it ’till Lulu went to bed, so I’ll hopefully share tomorrow.

It’s almost Monday. Time to settle down and catch up on my DVR, the Closing Ceremonies are calling.
