Well then…

April 27, 2007

It’s been awhile, sorry!

A little life update first———————->

Let’s just post a little funny to let you know how I’ve been feeling lately. This about sums up what’s been keeping me busy!

(hope you can read that!)
The pregnancy is going really well, I’m feeling pretty good, and actually have been encouraged by my doctor to gain more weight, that’s always so weird! Of course she had the caveat of sugar-free high fat foods, LOL! Bummer, I really wanted ice cream!

Mom started her latest round of chemo. Things are going well, wish her luck and send prayers! She’s such a trouper, it’s been amazing to see her through this journey.

Now for some layouts —————————–>

Here’s some stuff I haven’t shared yet. My final layout from the Funk It Up contest. Click the images to see credits or leave comments in my DST gallery.

A Tag —————————————>

AmyK tagged me with this neat thing (see below, and link here in paragraph) called the thinking bloggers award, wow Amy! I’m so honored by what you wrote, and that you thought of me. I don’t really consider myself a “thinking” blogger, so I had to check out the site and get a sense of what it was all about. Then I had to go check out who else has been bestowed this honor, and wow, again, I’m honored. I’m taking this tag thing seriously, and frankly, alot of my daily reads have already been tagged. So here goes!

So here’s 5 blogs I enjoy and make me think:

Ali Edwards just rocked my world with what she was able to accomplish with her recent 6 Degrees Fundraising competition. Way to go Ali!

Elsie Flannigan blows me away with her creativity, she’s such an inspiration!

Emily Boetel has been a scrappin/blogging friend of mine for about 2 years now. I know she’s been through alot lately, and I’m just so amazed that she keeps hanging on, and I love hearing about her and Lyndsay kicking some major Taekwando behind!

Dooce is probably my favorite non-scrap related blog, she cracks me up, and has also tought me alot about post-partum depression too. Hope she is always dishin’ up the dooce.

TomPaine.com. I wouldn’t be honest if I listed anything other than this daily must read. It’s a progressive review of liberal bloggers, I don’t always agree with what all the commentators/editors write, but it always, always makes me think, and I appreciate that.

So there you go, probably learned a couple things about me too, eh? Don’t hold it against me ๐Ÿ˜‰ Hope to catch up with everyone’s blogs soon!

    Hey Tania … Cassie asked me to comment on your blog, lol. She is having trouble with comments … I can’t comment there, for some strange reason, so she asked me to try here … so here I am, lol!
